Job Description:
-Overview: -Mercy is currently hiring exceptional nurses for the
Surgical 3B unit! The Surgical 3B unit has 32 patient beds, with a
nurse to patient ratio of 1-6 on days and nights. This unit is a
fast-paced medical surgical telemetry floor which focuses on pre-
and post-surgical patients, with a focus on GI, Urology and ENT
surgeries. The Surgical 3B unit offers the opportunity to learn and
perfect critical nursing skills such as:Head to toe
assessmentsTelemetry monitoring -NG tubesIV insertions -CBI's
-Chest tubes, Trach and ostomy careDrainsWound CareAvailable
position are as follows:Part time Qualifications:Education:
Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program.Licensure:
Current LPN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or
current LPN Missouri temporary work permit. IV certified in
MOCertifications: Must have a current American Heart Association
Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their
probation period.
