• Certification Details
• Traveler must have BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Job Details
  • Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, weekends and holidays as needed
  • No blocked scheduling
  • RN Days ratio is 5-6 patients per nurse
  • Traveler must have experience with ratios at least 5-6 patients per nurse
  • This is a Med/Surg Neuro- Ortho - Trauma Unit
  • The Medical-Surgical nurse is responsible for managing the care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures
  • The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education
  • The Medical-Surgical nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • NIHSS
    • A strong neuro background is required, experience with tele is also preferred
    • 2 years exp in specialty
    • Previous travel exp preferred

        • Unit Specific Information
        • This is a Med/Surg Neuro- Ortho - Trauma Unit
        • Traveler must have experience with ratios at least 5-6 patients per nurse
        • A strong neuro background is required, experience with tele is also preferred
          • Additional Details
          • MUST live at least 100 miles away from the facility to which they are applying
          • If previously employed by CoxHealth, must have been gone for at least 2 years
