Program up to $20,000 Lifetime: The Imaging Loan Repayment
Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Imaging
co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a
.4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The
program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer
up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime
maximum. Overview: Directly reports to the Imaging Services Nuclear
Medicine manager and Medical Director(s) of the Department of
Nuclear Medicine. Responsible for assessing patient's condition,
evaluating exam appropriateness and administering
radiopharmaceuticals to patients. Additional responsibilities
include analyzing computer acquired data, archiving images to PACS,
performing quality control for all equipment, and adhering to
radiation safety standards. Performs duties and responsibilities in
a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service
Standards.Qualifications:
- Experience: 7 years of experience as a Nuclear Med Tech in a
hospital-based setting.
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree. Graduation from a formal
Nuclear Medicine training program is required.
- Certifications: Certification by the Nuclear Medicine
Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or The American Registry of
Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear (RT-N). Must have a current BLS
certification provider card or complete a course within a
probationary period.
- Other: Excellent communicator in written and verbal format;
ability to handle complex situations; strong team player. We Offer
